Holy Crap!
It's been a whole week since my last post, this doesn't bode well. In my defense, however, I did break every finger on my right hand. Okay, I didn't, but if I had you still wouldn't really give a shit, would you?
My traffic has been increasing somewhat lately, ever since I did that little piece on the Squidi and Penny Arcade conflict. As far as I am concerned that whole thing is over, it's old news. Apparently some people are still looking for more fuel to pour on the flames to get that debate raging again, because a good portion of my traffic has come from searches related to that issue.
This past weekend I had a couple friends over and we sat about and watched Japanese animation and ate the sort of snacks that are specifically designed to seal off the chambers of your heart to keep the inside fresh and tasty for when the aliens land. Dammit, now I am craving sugary sweets. Anyway, we rented a bunch of anime and watched about an hour or so before we broke down and started playing Mario Kart, Pac Man Vs., and a bit of Soul Calibur 2. For some reason the anime kept trying to present us with a story, and all we wanted was to see things blowing up, eating each other, and causing a righteous amount of mayhem.
If the previews are any indication, the new Appleseed movie and Wonderful Days might just be the movies that we so desperately needed. Unfortunately, neither of those two movies have been released yet, so I guess we'll have to schedule another get-together when they are released.
Oh, and a quick update on the classic arcade game templates for Blogger! I am almost finished the third template, which I will reveal tomorrow hopefully. At that point I will post all three as downloads and also post some instructions for setting them up on your own site.
