What is ScoreBOT? He's half angry abusive metal and half Twitter API experiment. I started the project with the idea that it would be great to have a single Twitter account that could announce scores from several games, it grew a bit from there.

When MacEwan Business Blog Camp came to me and asked if I could make a game for them I said yes. But I wanted something more than that. I wanted a new way of tracking high scores for any Flash game that I make. I wanted a way of announcing scores to the world. In that moment ScoreBOT was born.

I started by creating an API that I could expose to other developers, then I integrated the game I was working on for MacEwan, Mike & Lenny's Twisted Puzzle. Once I got the two working together, it actually came out pretty well. ScoreBOT can be configured to track scores from a number of different games without very much code for the developer.

ScoreBOT still has a lot to learn, and needs to be integrated into a couple more games, but is off to a great start!
