Randomly Generated Content: Level 1!

The other night my good friend Lisa and I attended the Robert J. Sawyer book launch for Triggers, his first novel published since the TV series Flash Forward.

Before the event we had a chance to sit down and record the first episode of our geek podcast, Randomly Generated Content. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait for our next episode, when we will actually have all our audio cues and a tighter structure.

Leave a comment if there are any topics you would like to see covered (especially if you are an indie who wants some free coverage for your game!) and be sure to follow our show on Spreaker!

An Ant on the Web: Episode 2

Today we look at a new bill in Arizona that is meant to stop online bullying, warning labels on video games, how to use Evernote to transcribe your YouTube video, and a couple of Edmonton crowdfunded projects that need your help!

What do you think about warning labels for video games, or the Arizona bullying bill? Let me know in the comments below!

An Ant on the Web: Episode 1

Fatal Parsec, once in development for XNA, is almost ported to HTML5 and the process of building levels and fleshing out the enemy types is well under way.

Fatal Parsec lives again!

I admit it. I gave up. I thought Fatal Parsec was going to be great, but then I saw an article about the average profits on the XBox Indies platform and put Fatal Parsec on the shelf.

But now I am resurrecting it as an HTML5 game for the web and possibly iPad. You can test a demo of the new and improved engine using the link in the badge below.

I am still trying to decide on a name for it, though. Fatal Parsec is too obscure, it doesn't really have a call to action. If you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments below.
