When the rough sketches of the weapons for Knaves Online arrived in my inbox this morning I was excited. When I took the time to open them up and have a look, I was blown away.

I had asked for a number of different swords, daggers, shields, orbs, and talismans to be created for Knaves Online. Chai, as always, sent me a series of rough drafts to allow me to pick the ones I like... The problem this time was that I honestly liked them all. Since my budget is limited, I picked out the ones I wanted and am eagerly awaiting the finished product.

For now, here is a small smaple of the sort of items that will be available to players in Knaves Online:

Of course, there are a lot more coming, but as soon as these hit my inbox it got me thinking about RPG systems. While Knaves uses a wholly unique system that uses playing cards to determine the success of attacks and defense, I know I'll be needing a simple system to use after this project, so I'll probably have a tutorial up that shows the process soon.
